Okewaite is a Canton of the Barony of Politarchopolis and encompasses the Southern Highlands from Mittagong to Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia. Locals are referred to as Okewaitians. The name is a made up name derived from placenames in Nottinghamshire.
Okewaite was established on 18 October 2009 by Alys Dietsch and Cristoval Gitano, and their first real event was St Crispin’s Day, held on 24 October 2014. Initially, the group was formed as a Canton of Rowany, however, after many years of wars between Rowany and Politarchopolis (and resulting from a member poll of Okewaite) the Canton was officially transferred to the Barony of Politarchopolis at Rowany Festival AS 50 on the 25th of March 2016.
