Principality Awards

Principality award recipients are recorded in Canon Lore – a searchable database that contains the roll of arms and order of precedence for individuals and groups of Lochac.

Lochac’s Principality awards are summarised in alphabetical order:

Iron Spoon

The Iron Spoon was granted to victors of Lochac Principality cooking contests. The order’s badge is A wrought iron spoon palewise, bowl to base, sable.

Jomsviking

The Jomsviking was given to those who supported the army of the Principality of Lochac in any significant manner.

Roman Lilies

The Roman Lily was given for achievement in the arts and sciences in the Principality of Lochac. The token was a black pendant bearing the order’s badge, Three lily blossoms in triquetra Or.

Shining Helm

The token for the Silver Helm is a pendant in the shape of a helm with light shining behind it. [Mistress Ceara Shionnach]
The Shining Helm (now the Silver Helm) is given to those combatants who consistently present a good looking and period appearance on the field.

Silver Nock

The Silver Nock was given for achievement in the field of missile combat in the Principality of Lochac. The token was a silver nock pendant from a ribbon.

Silver Rapier

The Silver Rapier was given for achievement in the field of Rapier fighting in the Principality of Lochac.

Silver Sword

The Silver Sword was given for achievement in the field of heavy fighting in the Principality of Lochac.

Silver Tear

The Silver Tear was given for substantial and unobtrusive service to the Principality of Lochac. The order’s badge was A goutte de larme charged with a goutte d’eau.

Southern Cross

The Southern Cross of Lochac was a shell pendant with a southern cross in gold. [Mistress Ceara Shionnach]
The Order of the Southern Cross was given to those who performed service to the Kingdom, but who were not citizens of Lochac.
